Last year when one of Ryan’s closest friends asked him to cater their wedding, he was determined to deliver a memorable experience. Eddy and Sascha chose Woolbrook Homestead as their wedding venue, a private property set on two acres of landscaped grounds and surrounded by a working sheep and crop farm. The rural property provided a relaxed backdrop while remaining fully equipped for a large scale wedding celebration.

The magic really started to unfold at the end of last year, when the couple and their wedding planner, Olivia Plush, visited our warehouse to sample the share plate package they’d chosen. It was an instant yes. The concept struck the perfect balance between elegance and experience, familiar but beautifully presented dishes designed to be passed around the table, sparking conversation and creating a warm, communal atmosphere.

Olivia Plush and her talented team collaborated closely with Sashca to transform her Pinterest perfect wedding vision into a breathtaking reality. Taking cues from the pages of Vogue, Sashca envisioned a celebration that felt effortlessly chic yet timeless. Every detail, from the ceremony setting to the reception styling, was thoughtfully curated to create a seamless experience.
Our team arrived bright and early to begin preparations for the day, setting up cocktail hour on the lawn as the final styling touches were put in place. As guests began to arrive, they were welcomed with roaming limoncello spritzes, peach bellinis, chilled champagne and cold beers.

Canapés soon followed, including Queensland prawn skewers, crispy potato latkes topped with Yarra Valley caviar, cheeseburger sliders, chicken street tacos and fresh bruschetta. Guests mingled and explored the property with a glass in hand, soaking up the atmosphere, while behind the scenes our team worked quietly to reset the space and prepared for the evening reception service.
Dinner was served from our food truck, with generous share plates placed along the centre of each table to create a relaxed, interactive dining experience. Speeches were delivered throughout the meal, keeping the energy high as stories were shared and toasts were made.

As the sun dipped behind Woolbrook Homestead, the celebration rolled into the evening. A light rain shower made a brief appearance but with umbrellas swiftly handed out by our team, not a single beat was missed. The dance floor stayed full and the party carried on without hesitation. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, the Kusdianas celebrated a day they would never forget and we are so grateful to have been apart of it.
