Elegant Estate Wedding in Heathcote

Two weeks ago, our team of 12 travelled to beautiful Heathcote, Victoria, for Tom and Claudia’s unforgettable outdoor wedding. Just a two-hour drive from Melbourne, the journey took us through rolling hills before arriving at the bride’s parents’ private estate, a truly special setting that perfectly captured the warmth and intimacy of the day.

As guests arrived, the celebrations began with an open champagne bar and our signature grazing table, featuring a generous spread of cold cuts, house-made dips, local cheeses, roasted beef, and freshly baked focaccia, all showcasing incredible local produce.

Alongside the grazing table, our team served a canapé selection of bruschetta, chicken street tacos, potato latkes and cheeseburger sliders throughout the afternoon. Guests mingled, sipped champagne, and enjoyed the sunshine under the clear Heathcote sky before making their way to the marquee for the evening’s festivities.

One of the standout touches of the day was the curated drinks list, put together by the father of the bride. The selection featured some of the region’s finest local producers, including wines from Sanguine Estate and Vinea Marson in Heathcote, as well as Tahbilk Estate from nearby Nagambie. Guests also enjoyed craft beers from Palling Bros Brewery, a Heathcote local favourite, along with a variety of other Victorian drops, a nod to the areas wine culture.

One of the best things about our BYO bar package is that it allows people to select their favourite drinks, while we take care of the rest. From professional bar service to glassware, and setup, we make it simple to host any celebration.

The evening celebrations took place inside a beautifully styled marquee, where soft lighting, white linens and rustic florals created a refined yet inviting atmosphere. With 165 guests seated for a shared-plate dinner, our team worked from two off-grid food trucks parked discreetly nearby, perfectly positioned between the cocktail area and dining marquee. Our trucks operate completely self-sufficiently, making it easy to cater events in remote farm or vineyard locations without needing external power or water.

The dinner was a hit with our smoked brisket and porchetta both being clear favourites on the night. 

Once dinner concluded, the energy shifted seamlessly from dining to dancing. The open bar kept glasses full, and energy high as the first notes of the live saxophone filled the marquee, the dance floor came alive beneath the fairy lights.

Between the incredible food, stunning Heathcote backdrop, and the warmth of family and friends, Tom and Claudia’s wedding was the perfect example of how beautiful an outdoor marquee wedding can be.
